Project Rescue is a ministry to victims of sexual slavery. They exist to rescue and restore victims through the love and power of Jesus Christ.
We’ve worked with Project Rescue on a few different projects in the past, but this is the first time we’ve had the opportunity to do a full redesign of their website. Their old website had a dated design and wasn’t optimized for mobile and tablet devices.
Visually we wanted give visitors a glimpse into the places where Project Rescue operates. To execute this, we brought their photography front and center with large areas for images across the top of each page. It was also important to update the structure and feel of the site, by giving content sections more breathing room instead of having the compact feel of their previous site. Balancing out the new design, we utilized their existing brand color palette, fonts, and logo to keep continuity with their existing collateral.
Some key technical features of the site in addition to the responsive design, includes a custom map integration to show the countries and cities where they work and an animated staff count to show their state-side and international staff, all of which can be managed through the content management system.
