Responsibilities: Design

This general informational booklet for Global Initiative highlights the different ministries they’re comprised of, and how they are using their resources around the world. Their ministries include Jumaa Prayer, Say Hello, and their latest addition, The Jonah Initiative. Since each ministry, as well as the parent Global Initiative, all have their own distinct brands, we wanted to successfully meld them together to highlight various aspects of each brand. We used full bleed, high quality, colorful photos to represent the areas of the world they work in.

Missions Linked is a missions-focused design agency that serves missionaries around the world to provide them with professionally-designed promotional materials so they can grow their ministries, raise support, and change lives. Project: Logo + Coffee Blend Label

Responsibilities: Design

One of our latest projects included a logo design and Eurasia Café coffee blend label for a new AG ministry called The Baltic Initiative. Their primary goal is to facilitate the planting and developing of local churches in the Baltic states of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Since they are wanting to encourage the next generation of missionaries to commit to this region of the world, their main audience for their brand is college students and young adults. We wanted to create a logo that would resonate with this age group, so we created a modern emblem using clean, sans serif typography, unique color combinations, and a simple illustration of Baltic architecture. The coffee blend label resembles old, vintage design that is popular with younger generations. Proceeds from the sales of the Eurasia Café Baltic Blend will go towards The Baltic Initiative.

Project: Catalog

Responsibilities: Design

We recently finished up a redesign for Influence Resources’ trade publication catalog. Influence is the publishing arm of the Assemblies of God, producing books by pastors and church leaders across the country. This particular catalog will be seen by bookstore buyers only, not individual customers, so the information needed to be clear and concise, with few design elements to distract from the titles. Influence has an established brand that uses a modern black and white color scheme and clean linear elements to allow the book covers to shine. We reformatted and reorganized their former catalog to be more streamlined with their brand, as well as cost less to produce. With the use of icons and a consistent grid system, buyers will be able to quickly flip through the new catalog and find the information they need.

Project: Logo Design

Responsibilities: Design

Global Initiative’s new endeavor is called The Jonah Initiative, and we’re excited to share the logo design we just completed for them. The Jonah Initiative was created to inspire and prepare local leaders in the Muslim world to share their faith with their neighbors. For the logo, we wanted to create a shape that would encompass many things: the crest and bird that is found on Global Initiative’s logo, since they are the parent organization; the shape of Muslim architecture to show the location of the ministry, and an element to tie in the Biblical story of Jonah and the whale. The bottom and right sides of the shape form a whale in the negative space. We are very pleased with the final logo. It ties in well with the Global Initiative logo, but can still stand on its own when it needs to. The logo will be used in multiple colors including red, green and blue.

Project: Banners

Responsibilities: Design

We recently finished up a series of banners for AGTrust accenting some of their core values. The four banners highlight Church Multiplication, Future Leaders, Church Health, and Innovative Resources. We used clean colors, bright photography, and subtle geometric patterns and curves to emphasize the AGTrust brand. AGTrust exists to raise financial support to bless future generations in the Assemblies of God; learn more about the values they stand for at www.agtrust.org.

Project: Brochure

Responsibilities: Design

This month, we completed a brochure for Network211’s event called Dunamis 2. Dunamis 2 is a conference for church leaders around the country and is held in both Chicago and across the world in Jerusalem. This event will focus on equipping church leaders with the tools for global evangelism. Our design is modern to reflect the purpose of Network211 – using 21st Century technology to spread the 1st Century gospel. We chose to use bold, clean typography, a limited bold color palette, and monochromatic photography. Project: Winter 2012 Board Report

Responsibilities: Design

We recently finished up the bi-annual board report for the Eurasia Region of Assemblies of God World Missions. Each of Eurasia’s board reports focuses on a specific region Eurasia is working in – the Winter 2012 report focuses on Russia. With this design, we wanted to incorporate bold typography, vintage photographs in a film-reel style, and clean layout, combined with the established colors and textures of Eurasia’s brand.
