We’re Off To The Addy’s!

We have some great news over here! Last week, we frantically pulled together 4 submissions for the local Addy Awards, which is put on by the American Advertising Federation. We joined our Ozarks chapter just in time to enter their annual advertising competition. The Addy’s are pretty big in the Springfield design world, so we’re extremely proud to announce that we were chosen as winners! We got the phone call yesterday confirming that some of our submissions are Addy winners, but wont know the details until the awards ceremony on February 25. We will definitely be posting more details on our winning designs as we get more info, so stay tuned!

Our four submissions included The Live Dead Journal, Eurasia Café’s Drink Life-Changing Coffee Campaign, Eurasia Café’s Jaya Blend poster, and the branding/identity for Ozark Mountain Laundry Service.

Shock ‘n Awe Stun Guns is an online store selling self-defense products such as stun guns and pepper spray. Their previous website and online store was in need of an overhaul so we provided them with a unique, new look that reflects Shock ‘n Awe’s professionalim and quality products. Capital City Church

Responsibilities: Design

We recently had the opportunity to create a logo and identity set for a new church launching in the UK in Cardiff, Wales. Thanks to their local university and recent economic growth, the majority of Cardiff is made up of young people, ages 20-40, so the new church’s identity needed to appeal to these generations. We went with a monochromatic color scheme combined with some subtle textures, architectural elements, and clean typography. The skyline of Cardiff is well-known in Wales, so some of their prominent buildings are featured in the logo, using a sketch-like treatment. Christmas Time is Here…

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas around the office – we have our tiny, golden Christmas tree in the front window, and some of us are queuing up Christmas music on Spotify. But it got super festive when we started assembling our client Christmas gifts this week. We decided to get a little more creative this year and put together some of our own holiday treats. And the festivities continue… in lieu of a traditional office Christmas party, we opted to treat ourselves and our spouses to dinner at Houlihans. We had a great time getting to know each others’ families and celebrating a great year at Prodigy. Obviously we were enjoying ourselves, as we only managed to snap this single photo.

The Matam Project 5K Run

The Matam 5K took place a few weeks ago at Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas. More than 400 people participated in the 5K Walk/Run raising support for schools to be built in Northern Senegal. The Matam Project plans to build schools in lacking areas that will also serve as churches. Missions Linked had the privilege of designing the brand for the Matam Project (seen here) as well as the promotional pieces for the 5K (seen here).
